The Koran: Allah always speaking?

Muslims will claim that the Qu'ran (Or Koran as an alternative way of spelling) is the perfect word of Allah and that it is eternal, and is written in Heaven. However, an honest reading of the Koran would reveal that the God of Islam is only the speaker some of the time, the text has two genres within it. Sometimes it is the God of Islam and sometimes it is another speaking about the God of Islam, below there are two examples.

Example 1) The God of Islam is speaking: "This day I have perfected your religion for you, and have filled up the measure of My favors upon you; it is my pleasure that Islam be your religion; but whoso without willful leanings to wrong shall be forced by hunger to transgress, to him verily will God be indulgent, merciful."-Sura 5, a'yat 5?

Another is speaking: "And if two men commit the same crime, then punish them both; but if they turn and amend, then let them be: For God is He who turneth, merciful!
With God Himself will repentance of those who have done evil ignorantly, and then turn speederly unto Him, be accepted. These! God will turn unto them: for God is He who turneth, merciful!"- 4:20-21.
And yet these are supossingly the very words of Allah Himself. He doesn't say "I am He who turneth" or "With us will repentance be accepted" The way this is written it seems like a mere person is simply writing about GOD, it doesn't appear GOD is speaking at all.

Example 2) The God of Islam is speaking: "And they who have fled their country and quitted their homes and suffered in My cause, and have fought and fallen, I will blot out their sins from them, I will bring them into the gardens beneath which the streams do flow." 3:194.

Another is speaking about the God of Islam (Just a few a'yats later): "Among the people of the Book are those that believe in God, and it what He has sent down to you, and in what He hath sent down to them, humbling themselves before God. They barter not the signs of God for a mean price"- 3:198.

Why was GOD's slaughtering of the Canaanites just?

1.) Because GOD is just to take the life He has given, He has the authority as creator to create and destroy anything that began to exist.

2.) Because the Canaanites were child Sacrificers. Thus sinning against their conscience, GOD as a just Judge must invoke judgement to be just.

3.) Because the Canaanites were idol worshipers, who worshiped what they made with their own hands.
Thus trading their desires for their Creator, GOD's truth for a lie.

4.) The Canaanites practiced bestiality (Also known as Zoo-sexuality) according to Clay Jones in his article entitled "Killing the Canaanites" "From the Canaanite epic poem “The Baal Cycle” we learn: “Mightiest Baal hears / He makes love with a heifer in the outback / A cow in the field of Death’s Realm. / He lies with her seventy times seven / Mounts eighty times eight / [She conceiv]es and bears a boy.”20"
Against GOD's commandment and their own consciences. (Leviticus 18:23)

5.) Because the Canaanites' willingly practiced homosexuality.

6.) They had relations with their own mothers. (Leviticus 18:7)

7.) They had relations with their father's mothers (Leviticus 18:9)

8.) They had relations with their sisters (Leviticus 18:9)

9.) They had relations with their son's daughters and their daughter's daughter. (Leviticus 18:10)

10.) They had relations with their aunts (Both of their father's and mother's sisters).
(Leviticus 18:12-13)

11.) They had relations with their brother's wife . (Leviticus 18:16)

12.)

13.)

14.)

15.)

16.)

17.)

18.)

19.)

20.)

To be continued, if GOD should will. . .

"Online Schools

"I enjoyed the CARM Theology School very much. I feel equipped! The systematic approach of organizing information into logical groups really helps me to retain the information in a useful way." - John
CARM provides three online schools for you to learn your Theology, Apologetics, and Critical Thinking. The schools are arranged logically, are very easy to use, and effectively teach you what you need to know.  They were written by CARM's president Matt Slick who drew on his 25+ years experience in teaching, preaching, and defending the Christian faith.
Each school is tuition based ($33).  If you sign up for all three you get three for $75.  You learn at your own pace, have access to the schools indefinitely*, and there's a certificate at the end of each school.
By signing up, you will be helping to support this ministry as well as getting something valuable in return.  So, please consider the School of Theology, the School of Apologetics, and the School of Critical Thinking.
