The Gospel is The Core of The Christian Faith, the very center, not just a part or a more major Doctrine. It tells of GOD, The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit deciding to send The Son (Jesus) to suffer and die for a sinful, dead, wicked people who as The Bible says in regards to the human heart "evil from childhood"(Genesis 8:21) The heart is the entire being of a person, not just in common thinking of it being just about love. Although we deserve Hell, wrath and torment for insulting an infinite, Holy, Pure, Perfect, Righteous Awesome GOD. Although we were, and many of us still are blaspheming, prideful lying, thieving, adulterous, fornitative, wicked people, GOD still gave His Son in order that His mercy and justice might be shown, so His glory might be known and so that His love might abide and be known with His chosen people. This Glorious Gospel, (Gospel meaning Good News) tells of Christ's Atoning Suffering and Death under GOD's Holy Wrath on The Substitution for sin, His only begotten Son. Who is perfect to atone for sin, as He is both fully GOD and fully man. Because humankind have fallen, since the fall of Adam and Eve, sin has inflicted humankind, we are born dead in sin, mankind are dying in its sinful state and after death humankind was doomed to burn in Hell because GOD justly condemns sinful beings. There seemed to be no hope, but GOD in His Grace and mercy, prepared a Way, as He foretold through His prophets. Not just a Way, but The Way, The Truth and The Life, a way that Jesus said no one could go to GOD but through, The Way to Eternal Life.
Please see the video below, and I pray in The Name of Jesus Christ that The Holy Spirit would convict you of sin and that you would wholeheartedly turn to Him and obey Him.
"36 “Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.” 37 When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?” 38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.”-Acts 2:36-39.
