The Sola's

  • Sola Scriptura: by Scripture alone. In Scripture: 2 Timothy 3:10-17
  • A more descriptive statement: Holy Scripture, as it is Inspired by GOD should be our authority. Not the traditions of any man.

  • Solus Christus: through Christ alone. In Scripture: John 14:6, Acts 4:8-121 Timothy 2:1-7
  • A more descriptive statement: It is only by Christ that we can be saved. Not of The Law of Moses, rituals (Such as circumcision or baptism)  neither of "good" works or Mary.

  • Sola Gratia: by Grace alone. In Scripture: Ephesians 2:4-10, Titus 3:3-8,
  • A more descriptive statement: We are saved solely of The Grace of GOD, not by any work we do. Regardless of how good we see this/these things may seem to a person, as justice demands that sin be punished; Either by wrath of Christ or the Eternal justice on wrath-deserving people.

  • Soli Deo Gloria: glory to God alone. In Scripture: (Glory to GOD Scriptures) Jude 1:24-25
  • A more descriptive statement: We are to give the glory to GOD alone; Not to ourselves, pastors, priests. teachers, angels, animals, demons, a certain church, sacraments. Neither should be glorify Mary, those who we consider saints or any person other then The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.

"The Bible says the Earth is flat" argument

Some self proclaimed atheists and Muslims will try to attack The Bible and thus Christianity by claiming The Bible states that the Earth is flat, well as you are probably aware of the Earth is round, as your can see in the picture to the left.

Enemies of Christ use many different Scripture verses to try to prove their point, some are as follows.

1.) Isaiah 11:12
According to the NIV this passage reads "He will raise a banner for the nations and gather the exiles of Israel; He will assemble the scattered people of Judah from the four quarters of the earth."  The Hebrew word for "Earth" is "erets" according to Strong's Hebrew, this word could also be translated "Land" reading "He will assemble the scattered people of Judah from the four quarters of the land" if the text is in  Hebrew this is at least a possibility.

2.)Job 38:12-13
This text reads ""Have you ever given orders to the morning, or shown the dawn its place, 2that it might take the earth by the edges and shake the wicked out of it?" The word "The edges" can also be translated "The ends" and can anyone with knowledge of science doubt that the Earth has ends?

3.)Jeremiah 16:19
states "O LORD, my strength and my fortress, my refuge in time of distress, to you the nations will come from the ends of the earth and say, "Our fathers possessed nothing but false gods, worthless idols that did them no good" but the word used in the Hebrew text is "erets" which can mean land or feild, along with other word. The text may also be written "O LORD, my strength and my fortress, my refuge in time of distress, to you the nations will come from the ends of the land and say, "Our fathers possessed nothing but false gods, worthless idols that did them no good" The land may be Israel, tmany nations seem to be coming to repentance.

4.)Daniel 4:11 according to the NIV reads "The tree grew large and strong and its top touched the sky; it was visible to the ends of the earth." Two points may be made, firstly in its context it is king Nebuchadnezzar speaking, he is capible of being scientifically incorrect, furthermore he is telling his dream/vision to Belteshazzar and visions don't need to correspond with the natural world and in fact they often don't, as they are symbolic much of the time. In its context the King of Babylonian said "I said, “Belteshazzar, chief of the magicians, I know that the spirit of the holy gods is in you, and no mystery is too difficult for you. Here is my dream; interpret it for me. 10 These are the visions I saw while lying in bed: I looked, and there before me stood a tree in the middle of the land. Its height was enormous. 11 The tree grew large and strong and its top touched the sky; it was visible to the ends of the earth. 12 Its leaves were beautiful, its fruit abundant, and on it was food for all. Under it the wild animals found shelter, and the birds lived in its branches; from it every creature was fed. 13 “In the visions I saw while lying in bed, I looked, and there before me was a holy one, a messenger, coming down from heaven. 14 He called in a loud voice: ‘Cut down the tree and trim off its branches; strip off its leaves and scatter its fruit. Let the animals flee from under it and the birds from its branches. 15 But let the stump and its roots, bound with iron and bronze, remain in the ground, in the grass of the field."-Daniel 4:9-15. (Click here to read the verse in context.)

5.)Matthew 4:8, states according to the NIV "Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor." for one responce to this, you can read the article on http://www.aboutbibleprophecy.com/q13.htm.

Proof of Jesus`existence

Although some atheists and skeptics will claim that Jesus never existed, this a not correct and the large majority of New Testament scholars will admit that Jesus differently existed (This fact does not in itself support my argument, as it doesn`t matter how many people believe something to be true, what matters is if it is, in reality true.) The use of "Accounts" written hundreds of years later by gnostics

Muslims argue that Jesus was not crucified in order to prove what they believe the Qu'ran says "And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah ." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain."-Sura 4:157. Although the Qu'ran also has the Islamic Jesus saying "So peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die, and the day that I shall be raised up to life" and then the God of the Qu'ran says in the following Ayah "Such (was) Jesus the son of Mary: (it is) a statement of truth, about which they (vainly) dispute." Some Muslims argue that Jesus will die and then raise some time in the future, although it seems clear that the Islamic Jesus' speech (As an infant) is clearly in support of the Islamic Jesus dying and being "Risen up to life" as this speech is supposedly spoken to a crowd of people wanting to know why Mary is pregnant and gives no sign in that it is prophecy of some future dying and rising, after the Islamic Jesus was appeared to die to the Jewish people, while he was really taken away from the Islamic God.

Some Muslims use the following text(s) to try to prove that Jesus was never crucified.

The Apocalypse of Peter
What does this text say?
i)

When he said those things, I saw him seemingly being seized by them. And I said "What do I see, O Lord, that it is you yourself whom they take, and that you are grasping me? Or who is this one, glad and laughing on the tree? And is it another one whose feet and hands they are striking?"
The Savior said to me, "He whom you saw on the tree, glad and laughing, this is the living Jesus. But this one into whose hands and feet they drive the nails is his fleshly part, which is the substitute being put to shame, the one who came into being in his likeness. But look at him and me."
ii)Later on it states "And he said to me, "Be strong, for you are the one to whom these mysteries have been given, to know them through revelation, that he whom they crucified is the first-born, and the home of demons, and the stony vessel, in which they dwell, of Elohim, of the cross, which is under the Law. But he who stands near him is the living Savior, the first in him, whom they seized and released, who stands joyfully looking those who did him violence, while they are divided among themselves. Therefore he laughs at their lack of perception, knowing that they are born blind. So then the one susceptible to suffering shall come, since the body is the substitute. But what they released was my incorporeal body. But I am the intellectual Spirit filled with radiant light. He whom you saw coming to me is our intellectual Pleroma , which unites the perfect light with my Holy Spirit."
iii)
iiii)

Problems with using the The Apocalypse of Peter
1.) The date of book: About 150 AD (About 80 years after Jesus' Crucifixion)

2.) The writers of the book: This book is a gnostic work. The gnostics believe: That Jesus was only a god, not truly in flesh. (II) That there are many gods. (III) That the GOD who made the physical world was evil. All of which the religion of Islam denies, so do they really want to work a gnostic work to prove the Qu'ran? Some Muslim's argue that these specific verses are valid and anything else against the teachings found in the Qu'ran are not, interesting how reality is twisted to fit to Muslim viewpoint. This doesn't disprove Islam or the Qu'ran in itself, however it does pose an apparent problem: The Muslims will deny first century Christian works accept for what the Qu'ran agrees with and do the same with second century gnostic works. This is valid only if the Qu'ran is proven to be GOD's Inspired Word, which I differently cannot believe based on my research.

3.) This text clearly uses Greek mythological imaginary and resembles Greek thought.

In conclusion
This "Apocalypse of Peter" cannot be used as proof that Jesus was never crucified as (1) Came about 80 years after Jesus' Crucifixion. (2) Cannot be from Peter as he could not have lived to 150 years without Divine intervention. If Muslims want to go with Peters writings, then why not believe his letters? (1st and 2nd Peter) Well they can't do this without turning their back on their own false religion. (3) Thirdly, the text uses Greek mythological images. If it were true that these words are true in regards to Christ's Crucifixion then why are these so late? After about eighty years isn't it possible that the gnostics would write something to try to promote their religions views? Doesn't it make more sense to trust our early Gospels, letters and histories; that state that Jesus was GOD, was Crucified and was raised?

Muhammad's first "Revelation"

Muslims believe Muhammad first received words from Allah, through the angel Jabriel (Or Gabriel) in a cave called Hira. The following (Will be GOD willing) from a Muslim source and below this text (Will be GOD willing) additional comments on the text. I invite you to read the text, as it will give you a clear picture of who these revelations are really from.

"Narrated Aisha
The commencement of the Divine Inspiration to Allah's Apostle was in the form of good righteous (true) dreams in his sleep. He never had a dream but that it came true like bright day light. He used to go in seclusion (the cave of) Hira where he used to worship (Allah Alone) continuously for many (days) nights. He used to take with him the journey food for that (stay) and then come back to (his wife) Khadija to take his food like-wise again for another period to stay, till suddenly the Truth descended upon him while he was in the cave of Hira. The angel came to him in it and asked him to read. The Prophet replied, "I do not know how to read." (The Prophet added), "The angel caught me (forcefully) and pressed me so hard that I could not bear it anymore. He then released me and again asked me to read, and I replied, "I do not know how to read," whereupon he caught me again and pressed me a second time till I could not bear it anymore. He then released me and asked me again to read, but again I replied, "I do not know how to read (or, what shall I read?)." Thereupon he caught me for the third time and pressed me and then released me and said, "Read: In the Name of your Lord, Who has created (all that exists). Has created man from a clot. Read and Your Lord is Most Generous...up to...that which he knew not." (96.15)
Then Allah's Apostle returned with the Inspiration, his neck muscles twitching with terror till he entered upon Khadija and said, "Cover me! Cover me!" They covered him till his fear was over and then he said, "O Khadija, what is wrong with me?" Then he told her everything that had happened and said, 'I fear that something may happen to me." Khadija said, 'Never! But have the glad tidings, for by Allah, Allah will never disgrace you as you keep good relations with your kith and kin, speak the truth, help the poor and the destitute, serve your guest generously and assist the deserving, calamity-afflicted ones." Khadija then accompanied him to (her cousin) Waraqa bin Naufal bin Asad bin 'Abdul 'Uzza bin Qusai. Waraqa was the son of her paternal uncle, i.e., her father's brother, who during the Pre-Islamic Period became a Christian and used to write the Arabic writing and used to write of the Gospels in Arabic as much as Allah wished him to write. He was an old man and had lost his eyesight. Khadija said to him, "O my cousin! Listen to the story of your nephew." Waraqa asked, "O my nephew! What have you seen?" The Prophet described whatever he had seen.
Waraqa said, "This is the same Namus (i.e., Gabriel, the Angel who keeps the secrets) whom Allah had sent to Moses. I wish I were young and could live up to the time when your people would turn you out." Allah's Apostle asked, "Will they turn me out?" Waraqa replied in the affirmative and said: "Never did a man come with something similar to what you have brought but was treated with hostility. If I should remain alive till the day when you will be turned out then I would support you strongly." But after a few days Waraqa died and the Divine Inspiration was also paused for a while and the Prophet became so sad as we have heard that he intended several times to throw himself from the tops of high mountains and every time he went up the top of a mountain in order to throw himself down, Gabriel would appear before him and say, "O Muhammad! You are indeed Allah's Apostle in truth" whereupon his heart would become quiet and he would calm down and would return home. And whenever the period of the coming of the inspiration used to become long, he would do as before, but when he used to reach the top of a mountain, Gabriel would appear before him and say to him what he had said before. Ibn 'Abbas said regarding the meaning of: "He it is that Cleaves the daybreak (from the darkness)" (6.96) that Al-Asbah. means the light of the sun during the day and the light of the moon at night)."

Notes

1: Notice how the angel abuses Muhammad, did the Islamic God not tell the Islamic Gabriel that Muhammad couldn't read? Wouldn't he want to keep his future prophet from this abuse?

Perfect family authority

GOD is not a GOD who is failing, who is weak or who has failed to provide righteous instructions for the family. He has given, in The New Testament clear instructions for the husband and father, wife and mother as well as the children. When these commandments are carried out perfectly for GOD's glory; in His will then their will be perfection in terms of family. This perfection means no more shouting out of hate, no more failing of a household job, no misery because of other family members actions and no pain because of those in your own household. I invite you then, to glorify GOD in your family. And I ask that you carry out your job as a member of the family, whether you are a husband and father, wife and mother or child. I also encourage you to encourage other family members to carry out their jobs as family members for GOD's glory.
