The Epic of Gilgamesh is a famous Babylonian story known by many people, many skeptics will claim that The Flood Account found in The Holy Bible is just a copy of the epic of Gilgamesh throughout this course you will see that there is much more to the Epic of Gilgamesh then a Noah-like flood story. The reason the Epic of Gilgamesh is similar to the flood story is because it is a retelling of an actual flood, as written about in The Holy Bible.
