Section seven: Babylonian writings

Read tablet seven of the epic of Gilgamesh and then answer the following questions.

1.) The Babylonian "gods" decide to kill Enkidu for three reasons. What are these reasons?


2.) In one dream Enkidu claims to have seen the Underworld, what does he claim to see?

3.) What happens to Enkidu after twelve days?

4.) Name at least one reason why Enkidu's death is completely just according to Christian belief.
